Hummel's Hawaiian IPA
Tropical Fruit Punch IPA
Our Local Grocer
In 1927, A. A. Hummel and his family of four sons moved to North Canton from Sugarcreek, Ohio, and opened a grocery store where they sold groceries and meats on the first floor and dry goods on the second. In 1962, Hummel’s Food Liner moved to 315 North Main Street where it was a fixture for the rapidly growing town until 1988. At that time, the business was sold to Apple’s Grocery and moved to the New Berlin Commons in what is now the Marc’s store next door to us. For over 60 years, Hummel’s was a fixture and a tradition in North Canton (Basner 177 and Hall & Kieffer 148).
